We recommend that you bring your child in as soon as their first tooth has erupted or around their first birthday, whichever comes first. Regular dental appointments from infancy are critical for tracking the development of your child’s teeth. At these initial appointments, Dr. Yasi and Dr. Sal can answer all of the questions that you have about your child’s oral development, diet, and proper techniques for brushing and cleaning tiny teeth. This empowers you to take better care of your child’s mouth as they grow and develop. Our office is located in Jupiter, but we proudly serve those in the Palm Beach Gardens community as well!
If you are bringing in an infant to The Little Royals, the clinical aspect of your first appointment will likely be quite brief. Dr. Yasi or Dr. Sal will examine your infant and their mouth, and perform a preventive checkup on all visible teeth, check them for signs of decay, and ensure that they have erupted properly. We will also check for proper bite alignment, and issues like tongue and lip ties. Once your child’s exam is complete, our dentists will discuss their findings and answer any questions you may have about caring for your child’s teeth.
